This course is suitable for people who have an interest in child and infant Basic Life Support, including parents, guardians and family members.
This course provides a range of knowledge and skills necessary to deal with paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.
Course Content
Role of the Paediatric First Aider
Seizure
Primary survey
Choking
Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
Minor injuries
Wounds, bleeding and shock
Recovery position
This course is suitable for a group of up to 12 people.
At the end of this course a certificate will be issued with proof of the following qualifications:
RQF Level 3 Award & SCQF Level 6 Award.
