Total qualification Time (TQT) is 15 hours, with at least 12 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) in the classroom over a minimum of 2 days plus
independant pre and post course study. The qualification can be delivered over a maximum of a 6-week period with each training session
being a minimum of 2 hours.

Course Content
Role of the Paediatric First Aider
Seizure
Primary survey
Choking
Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED)
Minor injuries
Wounds, bleeding and shock
Recovery position
This course is suitable for a group of up to 12 people.
At the end of this course a certificate will be issued with proof of the following qualifications:
RQF Level 3 Award & SCQF Level 6 Award.
